Earplugs and eye masks combined with relaxing music helped patients in terms of their depth of sleep, falling asleep, awakenings, falling asleep again after awakening and overall sleep quality.

Comment: Sometimes the simple solutions are best. Avoiding medications whenever possible is a good thing, and simple measures such as earplugs and eye masks seem to help insomnia.
