An increase in the fasting blood sugar of 0.56 mmol/L (= 10 mg/dL) was associated with a 14% increased risk of pancreatic cancer in this study.

Comment: This research compliments a study discussed in a previous pearl that found most pancreatic cancer is due to non-genetic factors.
