Medical Pearls from the Internet Medical Association


This study found that people with both high agentic traits (i.e. the qualities relevant for goal-attainment, such as assertiveness, competence or persistence) and with high communal values (i.e. qualities relevant for the establishment and maintenance of social relationships, such as being friendly, helpful, or fair) were associated with an increased life satisfaction and happiness.
