RIGHT VENTRICULAR MI: Dx: often accompanies inferior MI; JVD + hypotension + clear lungs; V1, III elevation. Rx: same as for any MI=dual antiplatelet therapy (asa plus clopidogrel or ticlopidine) plus statin plus anticoagulant (heparin+integrilin) plus early reperfusion. However, watch out for meds that decrease pre-load (opioids, nitrates, and beta blockers). Volume load (200cc at a time) to increase pre-load.
