EKG Normals: RATE 60 - 100. RHYTHM: p wave upright in I, II, and aVF. a consistent looking p-wave precedes every QRS complex. AXIS: -30 to +90 (QRS is net positive in I and II. Leftward deviation: QRS pos in I and neg in II. Rightward deviation: QRS neg in I and pos in II. INTERVALS: PR 0.12 to 0.2, QRS 0.12, QTc < 440 ms in men and < 460 ms in women. HYPERTROPHY: sum of S in V1 and R in either V5 or V6 > 35 mm in LVH. R > S in V1 in RVH.
